Default Velcro Battery Strap?? Anyone make one?

Anyone have any suggestions on a velcro battery strap? I am not a fan of the tape and the Tamiya MREs dont have a battery hold down. Any help would be appreciated.

Stormer hobbies has them....

https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...s&pn=GMX07STBK

$12.95 for a set....

Features:
- Replaces stock battery holds and clips
- Ideal for 7 cell hump-pack applications
- Made from durable 1" wide Velcro
- Sonic welds at seams and die-cut ends
- Can be cut to fit for custom applications
- Will span up to 9 cells flat
Note: On the stock E-Maxx chassis, mounting washers may interfere with some stick pack or lipo pack casing. To fit, eliminate the washer on the buckle side only.

I really like the 3Racing ones. Anyone have experience in trying to use them in a Tamiya MRE?

Thanks for starting this thread I was wondering about a velcro battery strap myself. Does anyone know what works best on a T2 007? Also has anyone found 2 small ones for a 1/12th scale T-Bar car?

I use VELCRO straps I found at FRY's Electronics. They came in a 6 pack for like $6.00, and came in various lengths and in both Black and White.

They work pretty decent - and look really similar to ones I used back in the late 80's , early 90's under the name "Pure-Tech"
