what charger would you recommend as an upgrade from a cheap annsman thing ive been looking at the much more one but is there anything else that is just as good but maybe cheaper

Not familiar with Annsman. Are you in the UK? If so someone from the UK should answer because what's on the shelves here in the US is different than what's over there.

Duratrax ICE seem to be the pick of the entry lvl comp chargers. Only downside i can see is its a 12v DC only charger (must run of a car battery or 12v power supply) But has top features for the price. Also does Lipo for down the track.

to be honest there is only one chargers that i would suggest to any racer and that is the Protrak charger, by far the best charger on the market apart from the spintec ICC. Check out the website @ www.pro-trak.co.uk. or give phil a call on 0191 2521330 he's a great chap to speak to.

I recommend the new TeamCheckpoint charger(all in one charger, powers ur lathe and also does lipo).
