Is 19 turn popular, Yes it is there are races with 19 turn. They are faster than stock motors. But not as fast as mod motors.

R C king - A 19 turn motor is a mod motor. 19 turn is usually run as a spec class like stock. In mod class you can race any mod you want.

I use a C2 in my 1/12, and Im not really happy with it. Im consistently getting smoked by the Reedy 19T. If I was going to get another 19T, I would probably get a TOP or Reedy, when the new quad mag comes out
