Default What Suspension Settings needs changing when converting from Stock to Mod?

Hi everyone,

What I would like to know is, I have a car already setup for Stock Motor, and now would like to use a Mod Motor on that same chassis. Do I increase the spring rates or use a heavier weighted shock oil or what ?

Thanks for any help.....

After a season of carpet, I roughly concluded mod needs: more rear toe, a little more ride height, a little stiffer dampening, rear shocks laid down a little more.

If it's the same track you've been racing stock on, try the exact same setup first and adjust from there.

Supposed that is what I would do too if I had the time

The track is 230 kilometers away and I am going there for a race meet. Starting my journey as early as 5.00am. Reaching there, I don't think I'd have much time to work on my car. So that's why I started this thread, hoping there is someone out there who can provide me with a step by step process to adjust the car i.e. 1st do this, if that doesnt work then try this.... etc Anyone?

I planned on using a GTB 4.5 but have been advised that a spool would be better than a Front 1-way which my car is fitted with. Can I just put a normal diff in the front?

BTW the track is a high speed track with 1 or 2 slow corners.
