color fast wheels????
hey there
i own the old jaco 12th scale wheels, (14+ sets) and want to know if its possible to dye them luminous yellow??? (like the trc ones color)
i want the factory team look without breaking the bank, i think i read on www.nascart.com sumthing about dying wheels in the microwave??
is it possible???? i really want to do it, but dont know which dyers will be suitable, i own the old jaco 12th rims, tey are black in colour and are 2 bolt design.
alternatively is there a paint on the market that will do the job?? i have seen less experienced racers do this, but the piant just sorta flakes off, so which knid of paint did they use, and which kind of paint would be suitable?
i know its abit of an obscure question, but i cant afford new wheels and axles, so this is the only way!!!
cheers

I don't think black wheels can be dyed.

I dont think you can die them. But you can paint them.

You can paint them no worries, but make sure you lightly sand the area with sand paper to make the surface abrasive. So that the paint has something to stick to.
