The Quantum does have external solder points that the 7.1 lacks. The two share the same frequency but the Quantum is more programmable. The 7.1 has a higher current rating and ~1/3 larger.

When I said RCCA uhh.. I meant RC Car Action magazine website. So just go to rccaration.com and click on RC Zone, then Bulletin boards. Then go to uhhh Electronics. You could do a search for uhh like I said before I'll even bump the post up so you can see it if you go on tonight......

LRP is the parent company now. Nosram was an early nineties success story and wilted away over time. LRP saved them from eminent doom and now they are back for good!

Nosram will not be sold in the US anytime soon. LRP wants the US market.

what the operating frequencies are for ?
there are two choices on my v12, 2 & 4khz.

also, i need some input from gmv12 users concerning the setup values for my guidance. as of now, i set it up as follows:
#1 turbo (3)
#2 min brk (5)
#3 max brk (3)
#4 (factory setting)

i happen to use the 3PJ, when i set up my v12 with above values, i can't adjust the brake from the radio (ATL).
does this mean, i can only adjust the brake from esc ?

In general;
Lower frequency = more punch
higher frequency = smoother response

Everyone has different preferences for the profiles. Just whatever you are comfortable with!

When calibrating your V12 make sure you have the ATL set to 100 otherwise the V12 may not recognise the brake input from the TX. Turn the ATL down after you have setup to reduce the braking.

I have turned down the ATL value from 100% to 80%, the brake still seems a bit strong. Turning down more than 80, the esc starts to make a beeping noise with the red LED flashing.
Now what's up with that ?

Redsand: I'm going from memory here but try this test;

1. Plug a servo into the ESC channel of your reciever (put a servo horn on to make the servo movement more obvious).
2. Adjust the ATL (-ve) without touching the throttle trigger and see if the neutral position shifts.
3. Apply a tiny bit of forward throttle and see if the servo moves a 'tiny' bit off the neutral or whether it 'jerks' forward to a position.

Get back with the results!
You are running a 3PJ and not a 3PJS right?

more amp rating = more punch expecially when coming outa coners .... and in that way u accelerate faster

guys i need some help ...
i m gona get a GMv12xc soon real soon ...waiting 4 shipment ... the guy said not so soon

for now .. my curent ESC has got some big problem!!!
when i m comming out of the turn i punch the trottle but the car does not semed to accelerate untill i let off my stearing to neutral position b4 the car starts accelerating.

now thats LOTS of SECs lost there. still cannot figure out whats wrong except the ESC has its timer ticking close to the end of its life time.

Is it a digital servo? Are you using a 4700uF cap on the receiver?
