Hello ME- what cars are you going to bring back to HK or are you going to buy a new one like last time?
I think only problem with the Keyence is when you have to change the wires. The solder tabs are directly connected to one side of the FETs with quite a large heat sink channel. If you are not quick enough you will destroy the FETs. Its happened to a friend once and when I took the case apart the problem was obvious! This is a lot worse than the GM V12 ESC. My recommendation is to get one joint done in less than 5 sec then wait til it cools down before going to the next joint!
Having said that, Keyence service is excellent. 2-3 weeks, repair cost less than 20% of new ESC and throw in a new case.
GM service 3-9 months, 50-60% of new ESC cost and they don't even give you a new case (unless you burn the old one!
