What should I do for timing on my vortex?

I am using a LRP sphere TC, on MOST likely 5 cells, depending on if I can gear that

5 cells is mostly for mod. You may be a tad bit slow with a 19 turn.

In my touring car i have an orion 10.5 brushless with a lrp tc spec speedo. Tonight my motor took a direct hit at high pace and the car came to a stop. In the pits the speedo is flashing red and yellow which i believe is a jammed motor but this is not the case. It still turns fine. I have tried it with another sensor wire, taken it apart and nothing seems wrong but it is definately dead.

Is it a case of bin it or are these things repairable?

thanks, john

the 5800 is actually a 8.5 so the 10.5 maybe a little slower than the 5800

Ive run both and I would say that they are the same but the 10.5 might be a little faster. The 5800 in offroad is just as fast as a brushed 19t. My 10.5 is really fast.

I would say not to touch it but call Team Orion and ask. Joe is leaving for the worlds today so call now.

I tried the vortex 3.5 with the mamba max in my T2 007 this evening. In the beginning I had some cogging and changed the punch control to high and the cogging went away. This is the best setup I have had so far. The motor is very smooth with the mamba max.
