F1 would be sweet to watch. I might even race it if I can find a car to run. Hey Mike, any idea when you might have a schedule up or is it going to be pretty much like last year?

over on hobbytalk there is a poll. Mike wants to maybe change to a Jack the gripper or another traction compound other than paragon ground effects.

how do you on road guys feel about a jack only race?

the oval crowd is die hard paragon maybe you can post som opinions about how traction is.

I was very impressed with Vegas - both with the amount of traction and the total lack of smell. It was very nice and pleasant I must admit. With our new hotel there are some concerns already brought up to me about what affects we could have and what reactions they will have during our stay (and on our return). Thanks for the thoughts.

Mike

Also need to note there were a couple guys I talked to personally and said we were going to allow anything, so I apologize on jumping the gun with that (if this ends up the direction we go towards for '08). New venue brings new challenges. Thanks!

Mike, is everyone pitting in a common area? Sorry if this has been asked prior, just don't have hours to pick through these information packed threads. If we're all in a common area, policing the traction additive won't be very hard. If not, one of the Tech Guys is going to have to take one for the team and sniff every car at tech, right?

We have 2 attached conference rooms to the ballroom for pitting and they will hold about 120+ racers. Plus the main ballroom for sponsors is larger. So lots almost double the racers pitting trackside this year... this is one of the reasons this is being brought up. Thanks!

How secure will these room be? I would hate to see people just wander through and then find "stuff missing"....

I'm sorry but I'm a hard core paragon fan. Jack the gripper may be odorless but it kills my eyes. My eyes were dry and bloodshot the whole weekend and extra sleep and visine wasn't helping any. Jack did have great grip this weekend but I'm not a fan of its odorless effects. Paragon doesn't bother me at all.

The rooms are part of the ballroom/convention area. There really isn't any outside access to them. But we will have the layout up and give options if guys want to go there or not. We have no problem with racers in their rooms pitting as some still love that. We are working on the TV network again with video and more for the rooms. Plus the hotel has free wireless Internet so racers can keep up that way too. Plenty of options for sure. Some are bringing trailers I know about and we will have the 2-way radio's going to hear the action.

Thanks
Mike
