TB02 is only about $110 from RCMart while a TT01 is around $90, yes I know an evo 5 would be a better car, but for the money he wants to put in, it makes more sense to get a TB02

Heh, not worth buying anything from dinballs place unless it's a hopup for me, kit's are $50 shipping, better off paying $150 for the kit at tower ;-D

Heh, you guys suck :P, now I'm trapped between the TB-02, and the TT-01, is the TB-02 really made out of race proven gears and steering?

Alright!, I've made my decision, gonna get TB-02, get a 16 or 19t on it, and go drifting with my bud , after looking around TT-01 with the hopups I want wouldn't even compare to a stock TB-02, so it's the TB-02 for me , It looks a lot like the TC3, I hope that front shock tower isn't the same POS as the TC3's

Too bad they don't still make the TB-02R, that came with quite a few hop-ups. If you look around you might be able to find one

Ah, thanks, but that would be all of my budget :P, I can get the TB-02 without anything for $160, shame I am going to do parking lot stuff with it, if not I could get a TA05 for the same price, but damn I hate belts :P

I understand the limitations of a budget, I bought all my stuff one peice at a time over the last year, the nice thing was by taking a year off I was able to afford top of the line equipment, the downfall was my driving got really, really rusty, but it's getting better

Yes, the TB02 looks similar to a TC3. The good thing about the TB02 for parking lot driving is the spur and pinion are enclosed, so small stones etc. shouldn't be a problem.

Good luck and enjoy.
