Perhaphs this is the ESC that most of the pro drivers from Novak were testing.

I havent heard any bad response from the people running it, I'm sure it will be just as good as the GT7 if not better, and not to mention, smaller

The only things I know-no Big-heavy-hard to install external super schottky-YEAHHH!!!!

But a big capacitor still.

The rest is out there for the world to see.

This is what I like best. Check out its dimensions!!

1.11 x 0.86 x 0.60 GTX

1.37 x 1.11 x 0.66 GT7

And yes-its the smallest, lightest one since the Atom.
I am getting one for sure when they come out. I hope before the Halloween Classic in Oct.

Bout time!

The GT7 is alright, but jezzz, the thing is larger than my old Tekin G10. And that speedcontrol is old as dirt.

Small is the way to go these days.

Default GTX colors

The GTX looks really sweet and I'll probably be one of the first to get one....It will probably never happen, but I wish they would ditch the orange and do other colors. Or at least sell other colored cases as options.

Rc-Racers are anal people. I bought a quantum and yokomo brand GP's just because they were blue, and blue matches all my TC's (R2, 414, 415, TC3 etc)

NO WAY!!!

That's like saying FERRARI should change their yellow badge
to something else to match say a blue paintjob. Crazy...

I guess what scares me is the low amper rating. The Atom had a problem with big motors. Maybe this one is meant for toys or mabuchis.

Believe me, the GTX has no problem handling low turn motors. Just lately Kinwald and I have been running 5 and 6 turn motors without a hiccup...don't sweat it

Hmmmmmm, I just bought a GT7 like a week ago. A little bit annoyed that I didn't know about the GTX though!! But it doesn't matter, there honestly doesn't look to be much difference between the two. Like.... not a huge performance difference and the features seem to be relatively the same, just the size is the biggest plus, from what I can see!

Besides size and looks, I don't find it so much more appealing than the GT7! The specs look very similar... no on-resistance figures? And lower amp capacity???

Evicerator, since you're here... I just bought a GT7 (used, thanks goodness ). Is there a trick to mount 12ga wires on the post instead of the stock 14ga? Thanks for the help!

Later,
Paul

ya t'is wierd that a no-limit ESC is only 150A/90A.

GT7 is 640A/160A in comparison... and can do 24kHz freq (vs 11kHz).

Did Novak just glue a few MOSFETs & control circuitry onto
their giant 36A Schottky module and called it an ESC??

I love novak but I think I'll wait. Remember all the problems with the early GT7s. It's still my favorite esc now that they don't blow up. I'll get my GTX after the indoor champs.
