I will say that the quality of this car is decent.I thought it would be higher considering its a Serpent.I am so use to Xray and the bar they set.But I must admit I like the shock design. As if it matters but I give it an 8 out of 10 for quality.Instructions are good.Hope it runs as well as an Cyclone. We'll see Friday.

Hey everyone I am going to run the Serpent this weekend and was wondering what are the week points in the car. One last question I am building the car tonight are there any things I should know before I build it like tricks or anything like that.

no weak points at all. read my earlier post about dremeling a servo-saver part. the part that moves around the bulkhead, needs some dremeling. that's all. don't forget to use threatlock as well.

hope this helps.

yes NP has a serpent, went extremely well as he was building it at cotswold with a hangover.......very well indeed.

the only mod i see him do was dremel the front rear hinge pin mount as it interferred with the steering.

perhaps the tamiya bridge block would fit...as it looks very 415 mre

Yes, mine also needed a bit of dremeling on the servo saver, and also the right spool cup also needed some dremeling as it wold not fit. Other than that its really a smooth and beatiful build...half way done and cant wait to complete it and test it at Coral Springs, FL track...
