What does "EP" in the name mean? i see that on alot of models but never knew what it meant... looks like nice car tho... but i guess ya gotta take it with a grain of salt since they all look the same.

The top deck is really short which is common among the new sedan cars but the steering system is a little different from the rest. The diffs are made of a high quality aluminum. Serpent is using a really good carbon fiber and there shocks are of good quality and durablilty(From the 720). Serpent is into racing and has a racing heritage. Michael and Rene have been designing cars for over a decade and now have an electric car. I personally feel the car has tremendous potential. I have driven it, Worked on it and feel it is the next sedan to have.

Actually if you take a carefull look at the 400 you will seethat it uses the same style toe blocks (not the xray style), same battery placement with same style bulk heads (the front is larger) the only real difference they made is that the front belt runs closer to the motor which in change placed the front diff to the right hand side. This is proven method to reduce cost not increase performance. (so the front and read diffs are the same)

By the way the reason I said it looks like the 415 is because that is a good thing

The improved couple flaws of the 415 and put it in 400

for example the center steering and the inline servo position are a good thing.

I wish they used the larger knuckle bearings but this one seems to be using the cheesy 9x5s I dont mind the bearings being destroyed, youjust replace them, but I just hate the slop in the knuckles with these thin bearings.

I also would like to see cut outs for the toe blocks so they dont move in an accident and bid the suspension. (factory guys maybe able to drive with direct servo horns and stuff but I am a human being

)

But I dont like the fact that the rear bulk head is divided in to 2 pieces.

Well said tough beard... The car really is going to be good and those bearings are great to run outside as we do here in Florida. Good luck with the cars and let us know how you do with them..

wow, exactly the same? down to the mm? the exact same geometry?

see, until you take a set of calipers to them, you really cannot say the are an "exact replica"...
