Hello Chirag, the S400 is a really good car, and parts are good quality and cheaper. No hop ups needed at all, but some guys have the Tamiya 46mm dog bones on the rear axles since they are a bit lighter than the S400 steel bones/axles. Serpent has made optional parts like Titanium hinge pins and aluminum orange turnbuckles, etc.

It's still the best performing asphalt car I've had and after hearing the good news that Serpent will continue to make and support parts for the S400, I cant wait to run them again.

I'm interested, can you post some better pictures of the bulkhead area?

really wish to see a production unit of the upper deck the serpent drivers were using... the hybrid S400 front n 416 rear... n now even 416 proto is using 1 piece upper deck... it seems a real nice design for lipo...

cpatel529:

S400 is a really easy n reliable car... no hop up needed at all... unless u wan bling bling n shaving some weight here n ther... but it's not very lipo friendly...

I assume this top deck requires a modification to the bulkheads? Anybody know?

Anyone looking for an S400 let me know. It comes with a lot of spare parts, gear diff, upgraded belts, ceramic diff balls, couple bodies, springs, & some other stuff I can't think of off hand. Send me a pm if you are interested. I can provide pics & a more detailed list when requested.

Does someone know about "upgrade belts"? Part numbers would help.
