Lets hope they have enough sense to have it operate at 8.4 to 6.0 volts so you can use a lipo receiver pack.

Why would you NOT want wireless servos allmost everyones cuts there wires now anyway. Just make them with a Lipo in the case and You get power and a clean setup NO wires to tie up.

I was thinking more of a Tesla-coil wireless setup where a coil is attached to the receiver and it alternately dumps electricity to two smaller coils on the servos.

Tower Hobbies, who are of course part of the same firm that distributes Futaba in the US, now have these servos listed for June delivery. BLS351 at $149.99 and BLS451 at $99.99, about 1/3rd more than the equivalent coreless motor servos.
