Default Spools

i have a tc4 and i want to run a spool. tower hobbies sells the regular one but i found on ebay titanium spools, maybe 5 bucks more and they are from the united kingdom. there add says 95% or pro's use them and i was just wondering iff that is the better route to go as far as not breaking one or if the one from tower is just fine???? Thank you

As long as it has the metal outdrives it would be good. If it is the plastic outdrive version you will likely break it the first wall you touch. US style plywood or hard boarder tracks are murder on spools.

I only use one-ways on large flowing tracks that don't have any 180 degree turns. Good luck finding one of those in the states. Also, the plastic outdrive version will perform much better on corner entry as there is less rotating mass in the drive train so it can slow down much faster. That is until it explodes.
