Default Getting back into the electric scene.

I am just getting back from 3 years of nitro racing and have a few questions.

1. Do brushless motors need a designated brushless esc?
2. Who makes good LiPo batteries?
3. Do LiPo batteries need anything special to connect to the electronics?

1. A must.
2. Kokam is very good; the cheap ones that are still good are Maxamps.
3. Well, it depends on your ESC. Most Brushless ESCs already have a LiPo cutoff. Those that don't require a LiPo cutoff to be used.
