thanks for comments I along with mrbill have seen a sample done by the carpet guy it was nothing short of amazing.It holds better then anything I have ever seen.we were jumping and running on the sample and it never moved in the least which is exactly what we were looking for so enjoy guys!

LOL we call it stress testing the carpet!!! we tried to simulate what you might have to do while marshalling the best we can.I think we have all seen where a marshall runs graps a car turns around and the carpet seems to "bunch" up while he or she is doing this.That actions tends to make a bump I have seen it on glued or taped tracks we were looking for something a bit stronger then normal carpet glue or tape and it appears we have found exactly that.

Looks like I'll be back racing at the Champs for the first time in 15 years. Pretty excited about it too. Except that I just realized how old I'm getting.

I ran at the race from 1988-1992. Same hotel. All 1/12 back then.

That little thing called "life" just got in the way all these years.

Yep...my wife said I could go just as long as I drive back to Pittsburgh for a few hours for dinner on Thursday.

So it will be some practice Thursday morning, go eat, return and practice some more. Might miss a session or two, but that happens. The expanded practice on Wednesday will help make up for that.

something to remember ,we will have two practice on wed starting about 10am and two on thurs starting at 7 am no late nite practice thurs. we also need to get more racer in the masters classes last year there was only 68 racer in both classes if , we more entries in this classes if not this may be its last year
