Difference between P2k2 and P2k motor cans?
Is there a difference between p2k2 and p2k motor cans? I broke a magnet in my p2k2 motor can but the armature is still good. I was wondering if I could put my p2k2 armature in my p2k can and have it work like a p2k2? Does anyone know of where I could buy just a can for my p2k2? I found a GM3 can but I don't think that would work. Thanks in advance!

I'm not 100% sure about this but I recall someone saying that the cans are the same, the only difference that distinguishes them is color and armature.

Guys;
I have tried this very thing with a P2K2 arm in a Monster can and the performance was very poor (Dyno tested).
As the Pk2 vs P2K2, I believe that the Armatures are the same and the P2K2 can is altered to increase Rpm's (but I could be wrong) The GM3 is a totally different Arm and Can like the Monster.

So my answer to your question is: Yes it should work fine.

Where you racing this weekend? We're going to La Mirada on Sunday.

Don't forget that, so far as I'm aware, this is an illegal practice. It is in competitions run to BRCA regulations, the motor regs of which mirror ROAR's exactly, over here.
