Trinity DPD help
I want to ask about trinity DPD if i use internal trays and adjust cutoff .9v the discharge will discharger each cell at 30Amp pulse until all cell .9v cutoff or if one cell have reach they cutoff .9v and then 30amp pulse discharge process is done and move to linear discharge? is`t right?
Because some guys said like that.. i need clarification before i buy this product.
Thanks

I beleve that it will pulse discharge each cell untill it is taken down to the selected cut-off. You can choose in the menu if you would like it to pulse discharge or liner discharge.

Echo, I think you are right on that. It sounds like the "ticking" of the pulse discharge stops when the first cell goes to the selected cutoff, then goes to the linear discharge mode for the remainder of the cycle, which at that point is only a few minutes. At least that's how it seems to me.

Thats correct. So i think if you want faster dump after a run it would be better to equilize at liniar as i think its a constant 5amp draw i could be wrong though....
I know that the data is pretty much repeatable when u cycle a fully charged pack so the switch from pulse at the first cell is not a big deal. Your bad or less good cells will consistantly show up as that from cycle to cylce

so this dpd is not good discharger because i already try team wave V2 this discharge discharger with 20amp pulse to whole cell when the first cell goes to the selected cutoff, then goes to the linear discharge mode automatic.. but another cell still discharger at 20Amp until they reach selected cutoff...
thanks guys
thanks guys

no its not perfect, but the data is provides is accurate and repeatable cycle after cycle. Where as the WAVE does not give you any after cycle details that u can use to compile info and history on your cells and packs...
I took 6 of my friends older 3800s and with a normal charger and my pdp along with a excel sheet i "re-sorted" his cells giving him 4 great packs and 2 practice packs where he basically started off with 6 practice packs.
I've used the pdp to diagnose a bad pack of mine and now it kicks but with the replacement of one single cell.
Anyway sounds like i work for trinity...lol i dont...
The cons for me:
-takes too long for a full pack-1hr+
-i would like to see what amp draw is in use at any given time
-i would like 30 amp per cell pulse down to .9v for all 6 cells
-i would like 1,2,3,4,5,6 cell discharge ability
-i would like the data pages to sit still so i can read them, theycyle to fast
-i would like usb connection
