Default I did

and it work...

someone from HPI forum said yes as long as it doesnt charge higher than 100 ma...

I charge it at 45ma for 17 hours for the first charge and I did a test run...pretty fast compare to the Alkaline AA's...by the way I'm using 1600 Sanyo TWICELL...

anyone has this kind of batts? Is this better than the GP 1600?

Thanks

Default uhmm...

my charger (cheap, I got it for $3 bnew) has instructions at the back that says:

14-16 hrs Normal charge at 45 ma
7-8 hrs Quick charge at 150 ma

So all I have to do is switch it to normal charge and wait for 14 hrs...but I'm not so sure about that because the instructions are for NiCds. I'm asking this guy at HPI forum to do me a computations regarding 45ma and 1600Nimh...hope I'll get areply soon...and I'll post it here

I guess if your charger charges more than 100ma then you should watch for the temp...they say NiMH doesnt get as warm as Nicds....

I slapped a 300 series airplane motor in the Micro (it was supposed to be a Grupner 300 but ended up being a "clone"), took it out to the track for a couple of laps today ....DAMN ...it's faster than a stock Sedan ...I'd say about the speed of a 12th scale, uncontrollable with it's current setup. I put soft wheels in the rear and that helped control it some. I'm gonna try and spend some quality time with it Saturday during "practice day" to see if I can figure out how to tune the little thing.
