Default HPI "Pro" Shocks

Are these shocks different from the ones that have been available up to this point from HPI? If so, what is different about them? Anyone have any experience with them? To the untrained eye (mine) they look the same. Any help would be appreciated.

those are the older pro shocks made for the proceed and Pro3... the newer version can be found on the Hara Pro4.
