As for the belt/disk sander, I totally agree with you that it would keep the outside edges very straight. My issue is with beveling out the inside of the battery slots... I'm pretty sure that I'll need a router table to accomplish that.

To bad you can't get it on the inside. Mine cuts angles.

Hence the need for a router table. I've got my mind set on the one that's made for Dremel roto-tools. Then I'll just the right bits to get the right shaped cuts.

Then I can flood my local club with "stealth chassis".
