Default Quantum Rev+8cells+speed400 OK?

I am wondering if it is safe to use a Quantum Reverse with 8 cells and a small motor: the Speed 400 size motor. It only draws 15 amps or so. Does the Quantum have some sort of shutoff thing that won't let you use too many cells Is it even safe to do?

All of the LRP reverse speedos have a limit of 7 cells. The forward only 'sports' are perfect for the 8 cell packs. ESC's have voltage limits as well as amp limits.

Best
