You change the title of the message in order to attract more attention. The way it is right now, nobody knows what you're asking.

I'll do it for you

Where I live.... after the warranty period, you simply return the old one and get a brand new one for half the price...

I've sent my LRP IPC SR once, just to have the wires and case replaced (nothing wrong with.) They have good service, but the cost was $30 (with shipping.)

In fact, I'm having that problem with the SR at the current moment. There's either working normally, steering/no throttle, or nothing at all. I found that it was either my receiver, or my receiver plugs that plug into the receiver. Because when I can get it working normally, I "test run" the car on a car stand and "vibrate" the receiver, it will have those problems.

I'm using an XXL RX now, and doesn't have the problems.

I just got mine back from Associated for $25 shipped. They are good at calling you and telling you what is wrong and they don't try to upsell you a new esc when you don't need it.

Sent back a v7.1 ($25 to fix / $5 ship) earlier this summer. Since you're in Florida, it'll probably be the same.
Had similar problem as Aurra Sing with the receiver. After I got the ESC back, it still didn't work. Later found it was the receiver. ESC might not have been busted at all. So $30 spent on new wires and case ? Ehhh......whatever.
Oh yeah, go to associated's site and find the process. Reliable as you can see from other posts

Weird. Check this out. I had an old futaba reciever I was using with my v7.1. Had the problem with the ESC and sent it back. Same futaba receiver worked with a novak dually, but not the working/repaired v7.1. Swapped receivers and the ESC worked. Hmmmm.....chucked the old receiver.

My LRP IPC SR was working perfectly and fine with the Futaba receiver (FP-R113F). Now, for some reason my LRP IPC SR does not work well (seems like the plug doesn't make contact because when I move the plug around it will work, but when I move it back it won't work, and vice versa) with my Futaba receiver, but it works with my XXL.

when the brakes on my sr stopped working, i took it to associated and billy easton fixed it on the spot. it took 'em no more than 15 minutes, and it cost about 20 bucks. if you're in the socal area, associated is no more than 5 minutes from the 405 south.

by the way, my cyclone also took a dump and i dropped it off at novak (about 15 minutes east of associated). their customer service was equally impressive.

if you're not local to the area, i don't see any complications in sending it back w/ the warranty card.
