With a good number of drivers sponsored by Futaba and/or Spektrum did any of them use the FASST or other 2.4 systems?

I don't know so much genius more then we had a lot of broken parts in our pit and the guy who assembled it was just out right bored after we were done on Sunday. All the wheels belonged to the builder, I had a bunch of the A arms and I also contributed at least two PRS spur gears to the mix. It is the shop mascot now at Apex Hobby in American Fork, UT.
