2007 International Indoor Championship @ South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas

Thanks for the info guys.
Scott or Boomer
What up Scott or Boomer, this is Richard in Las Vegas, we talked the other day. Being that about 15 racers live here in vegas and are going to attend the IIC, please tell me that we don't HAVE to book a room at the hotel just to race?
I ask because that would be kind of ridiculous to have to do so, especially with 3 kids etc. Can you email me back and let me know that we DON"T have to rent a room just to race. I think that if we did then that would be a major downer.
I ask because there are some guys i know that race at major races and they are local to the tracks but have never been required to rent a room at the hotel just to race.
i tried to email you again at [email protected] but still comes back as undeliverable. If you can answer it in this thread that will be fine but if not, then just email me at [email protected]. Thanks for the info and I hope to hear good news.
I just don't want to have to tell my wife and start to have to set up alimony. LOL!!!

I would suggest getting on the wait list. That's what I did last year and I got in both my classes.
I'm sure many people will have plans change in the next few months. That's life. If you really want to go, let them know.
I'm in for TC but not 1/12, but I sent my "wait list" entry immediately and I'd bet I'll be making a hard charge for the D main in 1/12 in September.
My only gripe a 4300 Foam TC class would have been mint...lol

Well....................... What can I say. I guess its true. You can't please everyone all the time, can you.
Where do I start.
I guess the first thing to say is................................................ ....
Thanks to our SPONSORS!!!! For with out them. The IIC,Snowbirds,Reedy race or any major race in the world WOULD NOT HAPPEN!
Regardless of what Pat and Al have to say about us reserving spots for our Sponsors of the IIC. We could not put on the type of event we do without the financial contributions the sponsors provide to the event and a benefit of being a sponsor is ensuring their team drivers are signed up.
Pat your offer to be a big sponsor of $10.000.00 would be great and I would be happy to reserve some spots for you and place your name on the big backdrop.
You mention having the teams sign up early. We have been in contact with the teams for along time. We did reserve the XXX number of spots that the teams told us to hold.
As Shane mentioned: Some of the team drivers entered on their own thus using 2 spots. That is one of the things I am doing to make available those double entries. We also have numerous drivers that entered twice, I also have to contact those drivers and find out exactly what classes they ment to sign up for. All this pulls away from our total open spots.
As someone mentioned in an early post. This event is on a global scale. It is quite a task for these teams to firm up the attendance of all of their team drivers from around the globe 6 months in advance. But they did a great job at it.
So I guess I can just say.. Thank you for 99.9% of you guys for being understanding and supportive for what our team has put together with the IIC. And the other .1% that thinks we DROPED THE BALL! I hope you will enjoy your expericence with us and hopefully we meet your expectations as a Race Director and staff. If you still have things to complain about, let me know and I will be happy to issue you a refund right away and give your spot to one of the patient and understanding racers on the waiting list.
I am going to continue working on the registrations that came in yesterday and verify all the paypal payment and then post a confirmation of who is paid and confirmed.
NASH POSTED: Last year we sold out in 8 days. Who would have thought it would sell out in less than a day.
I obviously am very proud that some many racers from around the world want to participate in our event.
I am not trying to start any ruckus, but when somebody comes on here and complains about this event I feel the need to defend not myself, but all the other people that bust there butts all year to put this togehter.
Again thanks for your support. And we look forward to again putting on the best event we can.
Sincerely,
Scotty
