Is this for racing? What motors does your track allow? It seems the kings right now are the LRP Speed Comp and Novak GTB which are both sensored brushless ESC. Both are good. I prefer the LRP a bit more b/c of the ease of switching between brushed and brushless and it is a slightly smaller volume. There is a new batch of sensorless brushless ESCs coming out. Some as of now dont support the Novak motors which seems to be the standard at tracks. The Tekin R1 Pro looks like it will be really promising and should be out soon. It can do sensored or sensorless motors, brushed or brushless and handles lipos.

No Limit? Go mamba young man
For the money, go Mamba. I myself will be running the 3.5 velociti, but if you want the ability to sync up to your p.c. and adjust your settings, the Mamba has the portion of the market on smash. Or8ital has it right with the LRP, the footprint is tiny compared to the GTB and others out there, with the ability to go from brushed to brushless with relative ease.

In my opinion if you run stock brushed run the QC2 or the GTX. I ran both LRP Sphere and Novak GTB brushless and for stock racing they didn't perform.
LRP Sphere is the easiest to set up and use on brushed, but does not come with fan or run capacitor which is needed for hotter motors , and the programming is limited.
Now I'm running the Novak GTB, it comes with the optional fan and a run capacitor. It has all the optional custom programming you will ever need. No computer needed.
You can easily run the 13.5 motor all the way up to the 3.5 motor which is about 8 different motors to choose from in speed. They have great tech support and warranty support. Tried and true. I'm sold on the Novak brushless system, been running it just at a year and have had no trouble. Soon I'll have all there race motors. And you can get there sintered rotor in every motor they make now. You should check there web.
