How do you convert 48p to 64p?

Buy a 64P Spur gear...install it in place of the 48P...buy 64P pinions...install on motor...put motor back in car...done.

48P divided by 1.5 multiplied by 2 = 64P

64P divided by 2 multiplied by 1.5 =48P

i like 64 pitch its smooth but 48 is alot more easier to me my 64 p spurs used to chip alot as soon as the motor came off mesh even a bit 48 is a little easier

I run the 48p to, its more reliable with the torq from the brushless or mod motors. But in stock 64p is the best.

ok i currently run a 72 spur and 22 or 23 pin in my car i want to go to 64 what spur and pinion should i get i cant get a larger diameter spur than i currently have due to the top deck

96t spur, and a 30t pinion. Thanks I was itching to try it.
