I have decided my next car will be a TC3..... my only question is which kit will provide me the best options....Price is kinda an issue but not really...I have been told get the Factory but then some said don't waste the $$ on it get a racer......

If you're already a good racer, and money isn't a problem, get the Factory version.
If you're at a lower level, get the racer.
You'll notice the money difference more by investing in better cells for the racer than you will from the slightly lighter, slightly stiffer, slightly higher quality FT.

ya I would love to go with the other car (baracuda)
but my LHS only deals in TC3 and XXXS..and I would like to try and keep business there...I have already bought most of my stuff from ebay or the for sale thread and would like to start buying more from the local store....I have been racing a Schumacher Axis 2 and I would like something that I can stay a bit more current with...I am still in my first year of racing and I understand alot of suspension ideas and can set up a car pretty good and I have awesome help from the guy's at my track...like I said I would like something I can stay a bit more current...and something I can hop-up more too

The Team version definately got most value for money.
The extras in the FT is threaded schocks (personally I prefer non-threaded), no tires, and better bearings. Sway bars, which are good to have.
The guys at our club which got the FT, have noticed that the bearings dont last for long.
So the Team version got most of the goodies, but will save some money for other stuff.

but if you're looking for an alternative shaft driven car...
consider getting the Barracuda R2 or the soon to be release
Yokomo MR4TS-SD1.
I've sold my FT-TC3...and can't wait to get the YOK SD.

Supporting your LHS is good, wish I could do that here but there are none that stock even remotely competitive electric kits, why not try get your LHS to get in contact with Steve at Speedtech and get the Cuda R2 for themselfs then you get the best of both worlds

what kinda price tag is on the R2??
see I live in canada so it is like $1.47 Canadian for every $1 US...so some of those kits start costing quite a bit....the Schumacher Mission after taxes is close to $400-$450 for us and that isn't much mark-up...My LHS is quite good on that kinda stuff...he also has just some of the plain xxxs kits not G+ cause the G+ is also close to $500 car and that kinda stuff just doesn't sell up here...right now I have a Schumacher Axis2 and it is awesome but a little out-of date there is only one schumacher mission but the LHS doesn't carry many parts for it....
so basically what I am saying is the ONLY reasons the I am looking at the TC3 is because my LHS carries ALOT of parts for it and because I can pick a racer kits for like $250 or so...If I could be assured I could get parts fairly easy and a car like that didn't cost me an arm and a leg then sure I would jump on it like a fat kid on a smartie
