ESCs - Which is THE one to have?!?!
Hi guys, just trying to get some opinions. I'm getting a new car and need a new ESC to go with it. I was looking at the Novak GT7. A lot of people like it over the Cyclone TC2 (what I have currently). I had a LRP v7.1 and Quantum Competition. Just wondering how the GT7 compares to any or all of these. Thanks

Without a doubt, the best speedo out there right now is the Keyence Zero Extreme. It may not be as small as a GT7 or a Quantum, but it is far more adjustable(and easier to adjust also) and has the lowest 'on' resistance on the market.

I also have 2 keyence Zero V Extreme and other than 1 blowing off a led (which, by the way, did not affect performance), the 2 speedos I have worked flawlessly in the past 3 years that I had them. The digital display also is a bonus (it always puts a smile on me whenever i see the "Hello..." scrolling by.) Now, only if it could talk... =)
I recently bought a GT7 and it also feels smooth, however, I really don't understand why my EVO III glitches on occasion with this on it. The Zero Vs haven't glitched on me yet...

yeah, runing an xray.
There is no support for the tamiya in Dallas at this point. So I picked xray. I am too new to this to be the only one running a car in the area. too needy i guess.

I am using the GT7 now and its definately the one to get, although i've never tried any of the other top of the range ESCs. However some of the LEDs seemed to not be working anymore and i dont really know why, i guess the only down side is if the Capacitor fails the ESC tends to over heat and melt due to the higher switching rate. I've seen it happen before but its never happened to me...yet...hopefully never...
