Its time to be a big boy and start making decisions for yourself. These are personal opinion type questions, I can just answer this is not a good choice get a JR XS3, or some other radio just to be an a$$. With questions like these you will leave the forum more confused than when you posted. Review the features/price of possible radio choices and make a decision and if you eventually grow out of the radio sell it and buy another or keep it as a backup.
