Default model enthusiasts

you guys ever tried to scratch build your own rc car?
i'm thinking of scratch building my own mini z or micro type rc car.
of course some of the parts ill be taking from other cars(gears, suspesion parts, etc)
for those of you who have, you guys got any suggestions with what i can do?
thanks.

ps: if i actually get it done, ill take some pictures and post em.. somewhere.

I designed my own car once, but never could find a cheap enough machinist that could do CNC work. My advice is to design everything first and then do cutting and such. Good luck!

hey what kind of ESC would i use with mini z type motors?

i think the novak spy would work fine .
but the xxl is too big for a miniz, try multiplex rx .
