Default M8 radio adjustments for touring car (carpet)

I am fairly new to on-road touring car and would really appreciate some advice to get the most out of my transmitter adjustments. I have always found tinkering with the transmitter a bit mystifying so if there is a thread that disscusses this topic please point me in the right direction. thanks

This may help explain a few things...

Don't make the mistake of thinking that the radio adjustments will cure all your handling/driving issues. The radio adjustments are their primarily to make the car work "right". Secondly they are there to fine tune responses, but avoid large changes.
