If I recall correctly, the brief pause at that point is used to determinie actual resistance of the cell or pack.

Has anyone's HV packs suffer from a drop in performance e.g. runtime or voltage from the abuse or normal usage so far?

Did the 3rd abusive cycle at 10A charge 0.07v peak and 30A discharge. Here are the numbers for a 6 cell pack:

355 sec
24.5 AIR
6.85v Avg V
2958 Mah

So far the cells seem to hold up very well and very consistent.

Dragonxmx: Thanks for the good luck I guess it paid off because SMC qualified 1-2-3 in 12th scale stock and then went on to win it and Sedan stock.

Our drivers used one pack of HV's for each class all week and they were very happy with the performance of the Sanyo RC3000HV's. Scott Smithers who won 12th scale stock cycled his pack a couple of hours before the main and he said it was really fast in the final.

Ovalman19: So far we have been selling the 350-1.14's as the SVP30006-PV's and the 350 - 1.15's and 360 - 1.14's as the SVP3006-SV and the 1.12's - 1.13's go into stick packs.

Stormer should have all our packs in stock.

To All: At 121 seconds the T-35 will do it's Actual IR measurement this is why you see the voltage go up and come back down.

It drops to 2 amps and comes back up to 20 amps and measures the voltage drop. This is then used for to calculate the IR in milliohms.

I just checked, and they have them as temporarily out of stock and on order. Also, do you think if I bought 6cell packs now, they would still be good by the time the snowbirds rolled around? I will be using them in 6cell stock, and do you think that 2 packs would be enough for that race? Thanks.

Ovalman19: Our distributors don't order many 4 cells but we do offer them. You can try the Tiltyard for 4 cells.

With the race format of the Snowbirds I would use 1 pack per class. As far as them holding up for that race as of now I would say yes but we only have 2 months of experience with this new cell so I'm not posistive.

Danny:

Hi,

first off Congrats to you and all the racers running your cells at Cleveland. Scott Smithers 1st in 1/12th scale stock. Chuck Lonergan Masters and Stock Sedan, Wayne Vince and all the others.
we ran your 2400's and 3000's at Cleveland. didn't do as well as we would have liked too but it was my son's first big race. he did win his main by a lap tho.

thanks for your help.

It was nice meeting you and finally being able to attend Cleveland. It was also nice to see that the HV's were performing real well at such a big race.

The only thing that I didn't like is the fact that we pit in our rooms. It's very convenient but you don't get meet and see allot of racers.

I will definately be there next year.

Default Cleveland

Danny,

How did the S3000HV's match up against the P3000SMH cells in Cleveland? Which of the two were the most popular? Any comments from drivers using both cells in regards to performance? Any and all you can share would be appreciated. Thanks...
