ride height tool. -cant live w/o it
any setup station. -have to have equal toe and camber left to right.
tweak board. -same pressure on both sides of car.
proper allen wrenches

the must haves

A droop guage & blocks are also a nice tool to have, but you can use a ride height guage in it's place.

A decent set of calipers is also good to have for measuring shock length, tires, and com sizes.

If you race foam a tire truer is a must have.

Every thing he said. Ride height tool is most important. If you can't get a setup station you at least need a tool to measure camber. A setup station is best however. I have the Hudy and use it a few times a day lately. Integy makes a nice one for the price.

Usually you can borrow someones tweak station until you can get one. I don't even have one yet. I just mooch off someone else in the pit. Flat board is nice too if your pit area isn't. A good little turnbuckle wrench too if your car didn't come with one. Calipers are nice but I hardly use mine anymore.

Droop blocks and gauge don't do much good IMO if you race foam as your droop will need adjusting every time you adjust ride hight to compensate for tire wear. They're only useful for rubber tire.
