Bsr Touring car tires
#2
They do come trued smaller than the JACO tires, but not to the point for optimum racing. If you don't own a truer, they are alot closer for you out of the box. They come right at 60mm. Same size and fit (same rim) as Jaco tires.

I've gone throught a couple sets on my touring car and am on my first set of John's tires for my 12th scale.
For touring, I've not noticed any difference from any other foams and my only complaint with the 12th scale set is I can't get a socket in to adjust the diff without removing the wheel.

There is no seam across the tires. These work great and hold up as well as most tires the same compound on the market. I have used bsr touring tires with great success at my home track.

If you were to take a Jaco and BSR and put them side by side, you could only tell the difference by the sticker and the glue. John uses a different glue (appears to be thicker) and the tires hold to the rim very well, no fraying from the rim (different than a chunk). The Double pink you find on a BSR tire is the same double pink to would see on a Jaco and comparible to a magenta in other brands.

Last Year Stephen Sobottka won Cleveland in stock TC running BSR tires. He has also made just about every A main in TC in the past year running BSR tires.
Greg, on your 1/12 tires did you run the smaller diff nut that come with your tires? Try running that and you should not have a problem.

John is now set-up through horizon hobby so any local shop should have no problem getting them in.
He makes a good tire. I don't think you'll be dissapointed.
