guys, i want to make Drag Racing Monster using my Tamiya M-04M ...because the race is just for M Chassis Only...any idea how to make it fast?? i'm planning to use my Orion V2 8 x 2 MRE...6 cells battery only allowed.

roger, the current record is 1.3277et. held by Nic Case who also has the record for the fastest r/c car in the world. i think the current mph drag record is 108.7mph by Jim Shauer....all of them are electric cars. BTW parnelli97, i checked cheapbatterypacks website and all of the RX batteries you could want are all in stock....i ordered some new ones myself! $1ea. how can you go wrong? Tim T

hey mike, the video's that TRJ told you about are on the IMDRA.com website ,but they do take some searching around to find. there's also some good video on socalmhra.com...Tim

Sorry to hear that. That's a long drive for you but there is a couple of guy's from miami that drive up for those big dragracing events.

It's funny you said that because I have a m04L chassis that was a birthday gift and I'm in the process of making it a drag sleeper with it. Even with limited gearing I did find a way to go pretty dam fast with it. Just pm me and we will talk from there, I have some ideas for you.
