i will sure keep you informed of my progress with my promod. i'll try to get some pics. up saturday morning. it seems crazy here in phx./mesa,AZ but it's been really cloudy and raining! i'm in the process of changing the steering on my GMS dragster to the front axle used on the GMS funny car. it's a little wider and uses the normal kingpin/axle setup. i've still got some RAE brushed motors and your right, they are monsters...but i sure did get tired of cutting comms. and working on brushes. maybe i'm just getting lazy/smart? in my old age! i'm also trying to find aluminum 48p spur gears up to 96T. i found a place called RC4WD.com that makes them, but only in 87T. they wanted $45 to make the bigger gears....WOW!

roger, the current record is 1.3277et. held by Nic Case who also has the record for the fastest r/c car in the world. i think the current mph drag record is 108.7mph by Jim Shauer....all of them are electric cars. BTW parnelli97, i checked cheapbatterypacks website and all of the RX batteries you could want are all in stock....i ordered some new ones myself! $1ea. how can you go wrong? Tim T

It's funny you said that because I have a m04L chassis that was a birthday gift and I'm in the process of making it a drag sleeper with it. Even with limited gearing I did find a way to go pretty dam fast with it. Just pm me and we will talk from there, I have some ideas for you.
