EEEEK!! My Pro2 Chassis looks like its about to die on me!! what can I do?? Will HPI still take 1st GEN lower decks and replace em no cost??

i wouldn't think so but it's worth a try. depends on how you broke it and how old it is

How is it dying? cracked? worn away? If it is basically all there, theres quite a few things you can do with epoxy glue to breath some life back to it!

Its cracking at the screw holes. And its cracking from from general use.

Is there anything beyond epoxy that we can use to fix up cracked chassis?

I have a Yokomo YR4 M2 Type J chassis, and there's no aftermarket support for the chassis anymore. If that cracks... oooooh boy.

Cigarette ash plus CA glue. Put a thick layer of cigarette ash on the crack, press it and drop CA on the ash. Some smoke will come out from the ash, but it is normal.

That's only IF you can get a lower deck.

Without replacements, I think I'll have to use the ash and CA method.

You can substitute Baking Soda for the ash and you get a thick hard CA epoxy. Works great.
