ive got an Monster pro motor, and its SLOW... can someone help me out, and get it fast..

ive had it rebuilt 3 times now... and its not geting any better

Well first make sure you're gearing the motor correctly and if your car's drive train is free.

Maybe it has a bad segment. Could be a dud. Better off getting motors from a tuner. They build and test the motors to be sure they are good.

maybe since you have been gearing it wrong, which you obviously have... not trying to dog ya but you have... you most likely overheated the motor on more than one occasion... so the magnets arent that strong anymore and need to be zapped.... cut the comm make sure that the shimming is just right and align the brush hoods.then use 767's with a small cavity and red springs..... also start off with a small pinion before leaping to a large one... oops almost forgot.. only purchase team brood..

got it geard 86-22 on a losi xxx-t ..... and the motor dosent get warm...

If your motor isn't getting warm then your pobably under geared. The motor should be at around 130 degrees after a four minute run. If you gear the motor proporly and it is still to slow and your rebuilding it proporly, then check your speed control to make shure it is set proporly. If the anacer to all of these is yes, then try a diferent motor. Or atleast try to find someone that can test the motor for you, eather on a dyno or in there truck.

I disagree about 130deg, if its not fading after your race it dosent really matter how hot it is. 170-200 are fine numbers if its fast for the entire race.

If you look for the thread STOCK MOTOR FORUM you can probably find most of what you need to know. You'll get more responses there too as the people who can help you most will often peruse that thread, since it's a central dedicated place to discuss your exact type of questions. If you take some time to page through it you'll actually save more time than if you just post a very general question as a new thread. It takes a lot of time to diagnose your problems and since they're already answered in the Stock Motor Forum most people don't want to bother if you aren't willing to search a bit yourself. I'm not trying to give you a hard time, just trying to help you find the help you need. Good luck.
