High response radios

Fast response radios
The latest version of KO Mars, the Futaba 3PK and Multiplex Profi, how much difference do they make? Is there a test somewhere? It would be interesting to see a comparision like "going from radio XX to Mars, is like going from a 0,14 servo to 0,9 sec/60 degrees". Have someone got experience with these?

I dotn quite know what u mean ... but i know that the KO MARS R is 30% faster than Mars .. basically your talking like .0?? of a second so the response is very slight but definatly quicker ..

So switching from Mars to Mars R will gain less, than going from a 0,1 sec/60 deg. servo to a 0,06 servo?
On the other hand, upgrading radio, will also increase ESC response?
I already got a Presto, which I'm very satisfied with, so it doesnt sound like a fast response radio is the right point to put money in?

Sorry marketdroids, but IMO it doesn't make any noticeable difference whatsoever. I just changed my 3PDF to 3PK, no difference on the track. Then again, I did hit too many inside corner dots this time, maybe it is the fault of HRS

R1 vs. XS3
I switched from my trusty old JRR1 (older version) to the brand new synthesized JR XS3 radio with switchable Fast and normal frame rate. On my sedans-I use JR8450 digital servos and I could feel a subtle-but positive increase in feel. I say feel as the car felt more connected to my radio.
But-having said this-you'll feel it more on high grip than low-grip-like offroad or dusty asphalt. But i race 99% of the time on high grip tracks-so this fast response radio system works for me.
I cannot put any hard data together-but I dont think comparing the frame rate and servo speed is quite the right way to look at it.
Its apples and oranges. Servo speed is how fast its capable of sweeping the steering or throttle left - right, open - close. The Fast response is how fast the radio sends the signal to the receiver to initiate your input.

Never heard of high-response radios before, but does that mean that the normal 50 Hz signal repetition rate is increased?
