This technology is actually old and it is still too expensive plus most small capacity Li-Ion batteries charge up to 80% very quickly it's the last %20 of the charge that takes the most time usually when dealing with Li-Po or Li-ion technology. Also charge times have not been the problem it has been discharge rate that hinders many companies in releasing a battery of this technology. Getting a Li battery to be quality enought to withstand the insane discharging required to run an R/C vehicle (many times harder then a cellphone) is the hard nut to crack.
