Default TC4 Tire Truing Question

Hey guys just curious on how small (in mm) I should go when I true a set of touring car tires...Plus do I need to cut any tires to different sizes? I was going to purchase a new set and felt that I would ask on here prior to cutting them...I am running stock oval touring on carpet. with a TC4. thanks in advance Jeff
