Well I'm slowly getting the car switched over. It is a cool car but I seem to have to do alot of fitting of parts. If I run the shocks with the spacers setup like they want on the towers they rub the tie rods. If anyone can post some close up pics of the tops of each shock tower that would be cool. I have mine working but I changed a few things.
Overall I'm sure the car is great but I just need to do a few modifications. If anyone has some good closeups of their Xenon Stage 2 Cuda's (especially the tops of each shock tower area) that would be great.
As far as springs and shocks go are you guys running the stock shock lengths as in the directions (59.5mm front and I think it was 61.50mm rear) Also do you guys use the short ball link on the bottom of the shock? Right now mine have long ones which I think is wrong but 100% sure)
Thanks
Brian

Thought of another question. Are the Alex shock springs colored or are all their different springs black.

wyd.. im using the short ball end thingymabobs for the shocks..and the lengths are per the instructions. (59.5 and 61.5 i think?)
for the alex racing springs. they are all black in color. you just need to count the coils. it just helps you stay organized and keep everything separated.

Here's the front shocks on my Cuda, will just got get a decent sized one of the rear.

I hated those silly bleed screws, could never get them in far enough without stripping the screw heads.

Herminator thankyou very much. That really helps me out. I see that you have spaced your shocks a little different than the directions with a little smaller spacer up by the shocks. Those pics really help me out.
Hebiki thats for the reply on the shocks as well. I was thinking the long ones were too long and I see that they are. I will be switching them today.
Well this solves most of my problems. I'm feeling alot better this Monday morning.

I guess I will need to look into springs for my Cuda. Once I get the shocks at the right length I will see what I need. I can also see if my Rayspeed springs will work out for me.
My shocks are mounted on the titanium quick release shock mounts, which have a squared off section that sits between the shock and the tower, it should be about the same width as the nut you are supposed to have there when using the standard long screws for mounting. With the titanium mounts you only have to remove one but to move the upper shock position, and you use the tool they give you to hold the mount by the squared off section, which also doubles as a tool to hold the large suspension pivot balls by their hex's.
So you shouldn't be having clearence problems if it's built like the manual. Have you made sure the shock tower spacers are there?

Hmmm Shock tower spacers. I will have to get the directions out and look at that. I got the car used so I went over a ton of it but never thought about that. I will look at the directions again and see if I have something missing.
