this weekend i won the second race a our local track
i just won#t to share my setup with u.. :
condition medium grip aspahlt track, medium size.
front:
1,4x5,00 springs
oil: 30 piston: hpi #1 !!
1,6mm swaybar
a little kickup (used medium shim from the shimset)
outer most hole on the a-arm
second hole on the shocktower
1-1,5° camber

rear:
1,4x5,00 springs
oil: 30 piston: hpi #1 !!
1,2mm swaybar
a little kickup (used medium shim from the shimset)
2,5deg toe in
outer most hole on the a-arm
3rd hole on the shocktower
1-1,5° camber

take off cs 27 tires, medium blue take off insert.

usually i run the hpi #2 pistons and 40 wight oil, but on this track, lighter oil was defenetly faster !

now what are ur asphalt setups?

dave, square castor blocks are 5*? where are the best places to get them?

has anyone tried the 3* castor blocks? i've got a feeling these will be better indoors than out. i should have mine mid week.

The Square ones are very hard to come by since Square has discontinued the Barracuda line of products... I have seen a few in a couple of Tokyo shops....RC Champ and Pro-Shop Futaba they go for about 25$ and the colors that I have seen is Blue and Red only...
as far as the 3* C-hubs Have not used them ... My track is a very HIGH BITE one and I mostly use the 5* or 7* ones

There will be a few good things going for the R3 this year... I think that the R3 used will be hard to find ... but you might keep a eyeout on the for sale section too
