HI Dave,

Thanks for the picture. It looks like the main difference are the chassis and drivetrain. The suspension components looks to be the same. If that's the case, then I think Alex Racing finally have a car that is going to be bullet proof right out of the box See if you can check with your connections there if the suspension components are going to stay the same.

Thumbs up That R3 is BAD A$$!

Dave,

Man! can't wait to see Steve stock in that ride! gotta love that rainbow chassis. I notice the drivetrains have been extended so it is closer to the rear. They've really done the improvements we all wanted and looks like its going to be an awesome car. TC3 steering rack is one of the geniusly (sp?) designed peice and to know the R3 will inherit that. WOW!

If the suspention components did stay the same, that would mean it would propably be fairly easy for R2 guys to switch over without having to buy a new car...

Hi Guys,

Because I do not know of the price yet of the R3, I can't set up an official pre-order on Speed Tech R/C. However, if you're interested in getting one, please send me an email and I'll keep you guys on a list.

Also, assuming that there is not a whole lot of interchanging parts between R2 and R3, even if Alex Racing Japan does not offer a conversion kit, I will try to put something together.

Hehe, seems opinion is divided on the glitter chassis I'd prefer ssg, or gold
Other than that the car looks perfect if it comes in that spec out of the box, although maybe it would be nicer if they had the yoke bladder caps as standard, instead of those big ugly black ones
