I believe that you do need to get their camber link mounts as well to get the best performance. From what I understand it will make the car a bit twitchier and feel like it's driving on the edge more...

yes if you are using the pal hubs it is a must to use the camber mounts.

Plus now, I get to use Tamiya's facility, which is an awesome track, anyone who's seen the Reedy DVD that Izzy put out knows what I'm talking about.

Basically I'm not strapped down by any sponsors right now, so I want to try the different cars out there and see which one fits my driving style best... Rod's Evo 3 felt awesome to me, after just a couple laps I was doing the same laptimes I would with my R2. If the car really ends up impressing me, I'll make the switch all the way. The only thing I dont like about the R2, is it's become a money pit...

Actually I couldn't get it tuned, with the BL motor, I couldn't push the car as hard as I needed to to keep up with the racers at SoCal.

aaaaaahhhhhhh now it only becomes a money pit if you let it .
as many people know all you really need is the upper shaft support holders.

Well to get the right performance out of it for BL or modified you do need the PAL or Xenon chassis with the batteries moved forward...
