Okay, so much for sleep. So I get home from work around 1:30AM, and the first thing I do is head to my work bench and began working on some of the things you guys been asking...namely, the rear toe-in.

If you use the stock setup, I believe you have around 3.5-4 degree of toe-in. Now, if you go with the rear hub carrier (or the rear knuckle as Alex Racing calls it) that is listed on our website, I believe part number A6113, it will reduce the rear toe-in to around 2.5-3 degrees.

Officially now is past 2AM...don't blame me if I don't sound all there on the phone tomorrow...

I'll be racing the car tomorrow night (or more like tonight, since it is actually morning already...) and I will be joined by two other Barracuda owners out there (their first time out) so it should be fun as always, I'll let you guys know how it goes.

IMGOINRCN,

here's a direct link to it:

Zzzz...zz...z.zzzz.....
Steve,
Any update on the rear toe-in issue that we have? I think 3.5~4 degree is a little excessive? Did we get opt. 2 hub carriers with our kits? If so, what is the part # for the stock one (0 deg. ?)?

Thanks again.

Dave, thanks for the babelfish deal.
The translation was great...haha

man, much is lost in the translation, but I was wondering
their #PB044 drive line kit with motor mount, it shows the natural colour unit with all the drive line parts, but the coloured ones without.
I was curious if they all came with the same parts?

thanks
Nate

Thanks Dave. Also, are the steering knuckles and c-hub carrier on the R1 the same as the R2? I am thinking of getting the Square bits and I am not sure if they are interchangeable. Are these part nos. correct?
SQB-36x C-hub
SQB-35x Knuckles
SQB-42x Rear hub

Thanks again.

Also, can't you just flip the left and right hubs to cancel out the 2 deg?

Hi Guys,

Sorry if I haven't bee posting on here much. We are doing some rearranging of the warehouse to hold more parts (especially alex racing parts hehehe)

Dave,

I'm running the new 2.0 Stratus body on my car, but I actually prefer the old style stratus better. I see that Alex Racing have their own line of bodies as well. I'm debating if I should bring those in and try to get them approved through ROAR to be race legal here. Looks like a great body

Fastburn,

I will be checking on the motor mount tonight, as soon as I can get hold them in Japan.

Elnitro,

as dave mentioned, the part number you need is A6113, that will reduce the rear toe quite a bit

Lastly, we noticed last night that the type of spur gear you use actually have a huge effect on how loud or quiet your car is. The Kimbrough gears were the most quiet, my Robinson gears were very quiet as well. By far the loudest is the RW gear So if you want the attention and everyone looking at your car, go with the RW!

Hi Guys,

Just got off the phone with Japan and here's the update:

Next batch of cars will be available mid-late April

Next batch of parts is coming in mid April

The SpeedWay PAL motor mount is not yet available, they are doing the final testing this weekend (they have a big race this weekend) and will be available first week of April. Our next shipment of parts will have the SpeedWay PAL motor mounts.

We will also try to order the new aluminum suspension parts from Alex racing on the next shipment

Thanks for reading guys.

LOL, big spender, leave some for the rest of us

just got an email saying my spare parts and diff are on their way probably won't make it for Monday's racing so another challenging night but it's a fun night anyway, should manage some butt kicking the week after that though

Now I have to start painting my shell for sunday, if only I would stop changing my mind about the colour scheme
