Most important: Get a car with good local support.
Which one? Depends on use and needs.
The TC3 are better suited for carpet tracks, since it's stiffer. But the front arms are fragile and bearings dont last as good, as on other cars. So the TC3 are best suited for people, who dont make crashes. And everybody make crashes, when they start in this hobby.
The Pro3 solid and easy to setup. It's also good on slippery surfaces. But for very serious racing, it'll get too expensive. Also, it will soon be discontinued, since HPI are coming with the Pro4 later in this year. However, usually HPI support their discontinued kits for quite a long time.
So I'll suggest you check out the Losi XXX-s.
