Sounds Good! Turtlemaster Thanks! I would try maybe down to 35t pinion and work my way up!

I'm curious what track conditions you guys are racing in to have to gear the motor that hard. I got 130-150 degree temps out of the motor running the same ratio I'd use on a CO27 stocker. Track temp was 120, running Sorex 36 rubber on a medium technical asphalt circuit.

To give you an idea, most guys running the 5.5 Systems ran at 14/87

I run 4300 foam. #3 is deffinitly the best with 13.5 and foam.
I would run a higher min drive% if running rubber on carpet. #1 or a custom program.

nexxus I'm running carpet indoors. Probably small compared to outdoors. That is the big factor when on the net its hard to put visual on the layout.
Generally a 29mm to 32mm roll out depending on layout.

Run 5.2 at NorCal with the 13.5. If you need any help while you are there just ask for Art.

(edit) with the sintered rotor...

Yes well, we can't use foam tyres here for club racing, even on Carpet you need to run rubber tyres.

You will see me at NorCal on every race day. Most times I am there practicing on Sunday also. Unfortunately right now I am at work so I can't make it. Next week is the North West Carpet Champs at Stockton RC so most of us (the crew) will be in Stockton. After that....any weekend I should be there!
